The Kishwaukee College Kougars used blistering shooting to run past the Rockford University Junior Varsity by a score of 118-58. The Kougars shot over 60% in both halves and 61.5% for the game, as 7 players scored in double figures.
The game was never in question, as Kishwaukee scored a season high 60 points in the first half to lead 60-23 going into the half. Not only were the Kougars dominant on the offensive end but they ruled on the boards with a 53-18 advantage over the Regents.
Koko Songolo (Madison Memorial High School) led the Kougars with a double/double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. He was followed by Malcolm Reed (Marquette Catholic High School) with 18 points. Ryan Reeder (15), JoVonte Peals (14), Deon Merrill (12), Jordan Horath (11), and Bryson Butler (11) were the other Kougars in double figures.
The win completes the regular season for the Kougars, as they await their play-off seeding and opponent, to be determined on Sunday, Feb 21, 2016.
