The history of exciting games between the men of Kishwaukee College and the South Suburban College Bulldogs continued, as the Kougars battled for 40 minutes, but dropped a 95-92 decision. The lead changed on six different occasions, with the Bulldogs leading by 14 at 31-17 and the Kougars leading by as many as 10 points with 10:21 left in the second half. Back to back possessions by the Kougars with under a minute to play led to making just 1 of 2 free-throws on each trip and despite late game heroics on back to back 3-pt shots by Bryson Butler and Armon Williams, a desperation 3 by Butler at the buzzer was off of the mark.
Williams led the Kougars in scoring with 21 points, followed by JoVonte Peals with 18. Peals also led the Kougars in rebounding with 8 boards in the contest.
