Despite having four players in double figure scoring, the Kishwaukee Kougars couldn't overcome an 18 point differential from the 3-pt line, and suffered a 76-70 loss at Black Hawk College. The Kougars rushed out to a 5 point lead in the first half, but trailed at halftime 38-37. With 15:32 to go in the game, Kishwaukee had their biggest lead of the night at 50-42. The Black Hawk Braves would go on a run until the Kougars were able to tie the game at 68 with 3:47 remaining. The Kougars would close to within 1 at 71-70 with 2:08 on two Ryan Reeder free-throws, but would go scoreless to end the game.
Jajuan Cosby (West Chicago High School) led the Kougars in scoring with 16 points while adding 5 assists. Malcolm Reed, Ryan Reeder and Bryson Butler also scored in double figures for Kishwaukee.
