The Kishwaukee Kougars ended a three game skid with an 81-75 victory over the Elgin Community College Spartans. Trailing by two points at the half, 34-32, the Kougars out-scored the Spartans 49-41 in the second half to earn the win.
Kishwaukee College led by double figures at multiple points in both halves, with the last time coming at the 4:24 mark of the second half when a jumper by Armon Williams (Oak Forest HS) put the Kougars up by 12, at 72-60.
Williams led the Kougars in scoring with 21 points, going 7-12 from the floor. Malcolm Reed (Marquette Catholic HS) had 17 points and 15 rebounds, while Daniel McFadden (Elgin Larkin HS) also had a double/double with 11 points and 12 boards. Austin Patterson (Morris HS) was the last Kougar in double figure scoring with 11 points.
