The Kishwaukee College men's basketball team could not overcome a slow start and a 20 point halftime deficit, falling on the road to the College of Lake County, 96-84. The Kougars trailed 53-33 at the half and outscored Lake County, 51-43 in the second half.
Kishwaukee had four players in double figures, led by Malcolm Reed (Marquette Catholic HS) with 19 points, shooting 8-12 from the floor. Also in double figures were JoVonte Peals (Maquette Catholic HS) with 15, Bryson Butler (Lincoln Park HS) with 14 and JaJuan Cosby (West Chicago HS) with 10. Peals led the Kougars in rebounding with 11.
The Kougars are back in action Tuesday, November 24th, as they take on McHenry County College. Tip-off is at 7:30.
