Morton College jumped out early on the Kishwaukee Kougars, and despite numerous runs, the Kougars couldn't climb the hill, falling by the score of 81-67. The Kougars trimmed the second half deficit to five points on two occasions, but Kishwaukee couldn't get the needed stops to make it closer. The Kougars gave up 17 offensive rebounds and were out-scored on those second attempts 20-4.
Kishwaukee was led in scoring by Daniel McFadden (Elgin Larkin HS) and JoVonte Peals (Marquette Catholic HS), each with 10 points.
