The Kishwaukee Kougar men jumped out to a 21-4 lead, five minutes into the game and never trailed, getting a 74-65 road win over the Truman College Falcons. The Kougars forced the Falcons into 22 turnovers and had 17 steals, while out-rebounding Truman by a 46-39 margin.
The Kougars had a balanced scoring attack, led in scoring by JoVonte Peals (Marquette Catholic High School) and Austin Patterson (Morris High School) with 12 points each. Bryson Butler and Malcolm Reed were also in double figures for the Kougars with 11 and 10 points.
