The Kishwaukee Kougar baseball team won the 1^st Annual Champions in the Community, athletic service award for the 2015-16 school year. The Champions in the Community Award recognizes the Kishwaukee Community College athletic team that participates in the largest number of community service hours for the school year.    

For the 2015-16 school year, the Kishwaukee Kougar baseball team put in over 375 hours back into the surrounding communities through volunteer work at the following organizations and events:

WLBK's Freezing for Food event for the Salvation Army

Feed My Starving Children

Kishwaukee Valley YMCA Halloween Event

Champions Read Program- Malta Elementary School

The Kishwaukee College Kougars poured over 1100 hours into the surrounding community during the 2015-16 school year via their Champions in the Community service platform.
