Game 1-

Kishwaukee College drops high-scoring affair to Oakton, 12-11

Kishwaukee College fell 12-11 to Oakton in seven innings on Wednesday at Malta, IL despite racking up 13 hits and 11 runs.

Aj Colantonio got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Alex Niecikowski, Seth Dvorak and Matt Delavega helped lead Oakton. They combined for six hits and eight RBIs.

Renny Tolentino took the loss for Kishwaukee. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.

The Kougars jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Kishwaukee  got a spark in the form of a David Salgueiro single, before before Jared Johnson homered, scoring Salgueiro. More runs came home for Kishwaukee College when Vinz scored on a groundout by Aneudy DeLacruz.

After posting five runs in the second, Oakton again scored five in the sixth. In the second, Oakton scored on a three-run triple by Niecikowski, plating Pierce Albright, Niovel Ruiz Diaz and Dvorak.

Oakton matched its one-run third inning with one more in the seventh. In the third, Oakton scored on a passed ball, bringing home Dvorak.

Kishwaukee College answered Oakton's top inning with four runs of its own in the third. Kishwaukee scored on a two-run single by Matt Albert, a groundout by DeLacruz, and an RBI single by Juan Casanova.

The Kougars pushed across two runs in both the fourth inning and the sixth. In the fourth, Kishwaukee College scored on a two-run double by Albert, bringing home Johnson and Cooper Vinz.

Game 2-

Kishwaukee College take out Oakton with help from Aneudy DeLacruz, 8-3

Aneudy DeLacruz went 3-3 at the plate as Kishwaukee College took home an 8-3 victory over Oakton in six innings at Malta, IL on Wednesday.

He singled in the first and second innings and doubled in the fourth inning.

Austin Broyles got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Brandon Popp couldn't get it done on the hill for Oakton, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked four and struck out one.

The top of the first saw Oakton take an early lead, 3-0. Oakton got things going when Alex Niecikowski singled. A single by Mike Miller then moved Niecikowski from first to third. Matt Delavega singled, bringing home Niecikowski. More runs came home for Oakton when Miller scored on a fielder's choice and Aj Boehmer scored on an RBI single by Seth Dvorak.

Kishwaukee College quickly matched Oakton's strong inning with a three-run inning of its own in the first. Kishwaukee scored on a two-run single by DeLacruz and.

The game's last lead went to Kishwaukee College thanks to a second inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on an error and a two-run single by DeLacruz.
