Great pitching helped Kishwaukee College to a 5-1 victory in seven innings over Kalamazoo on Wednesday at Winter Haven, FL.

Chris Rodriguez was in control on the hill. Kalamazoo managed just one hit off of Rodriguez, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out six during his six innings of work.

Brock Emery was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed three runs.

The game's last lead went to Kishwaukee College thanks to a first inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by Cooper Vinz.

Kishwaukee College got two-run rallies in the fourth inning and the fifth. In the fourth, Kishwaukee College scored on a passed ball, plating Jared Johnson.

Kalamazoo managed to score one run in the seventh inning on an RBI double by Jay Smith.
