CSC takes last regular season match against Kougars

October 24, 2023 – The Kishwaukee College Womens Volleyball team wrapped up their first year back, after a three year hiatus Tuesday night, hosting Arrowhead Conference foe Carl Sandburg College.  Sandburg would take the match 3-0, 16-25, 12-25 and 12-25. Addie Friestad, Avery Salsbury and Emily Gilbert each had 5 kills for the Kougars.  Destiny McKinnie (kill), Dakota Thomas (3 digs), Mady Lavender (3 kills) and Natalie Buchanan (2 kills, 12 assists) each had at least 4 digs for Kish.  Kishwaukee finishes the regular season at 2-16.  "Overall I am pleased with the progress and competitiveness we showed all season," said Head Coach Zach Salapatek.  Our goal was to get better each match and I think we did that while setting up a solid foundation to build on moving forward!  I cant wait to get this core group back, work in our new recruits and get back at it next fall!"

Thank you to our two sophomores, Emily Gilbert (Genoa Kingston HS) and Destiny McKinnie (DeKalb HS) for their commitment, passion and hard work this season!  Your dedication helped bring back the program and aided in moving the program in a positive direction for the future!
