October 29, 2022 - The Kishwaukee College Womens Cross Country team wrapped up the regular season meets at UW-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin this past Saturday. Gretchen Strathman finished with a very strong effort with a time of 26:17 and an 18th place finish in a very competitive field.  Kylie Von Schnase paced in at a 2:07 good for 5th place in womens individual plus earning an automatic berth to the NJCAA DII National Championships in Tallahassee, Florida on November 12.

Coach Costanzo on the year- "It was a great season for Gretchen and Kylie!  They each took top ten finishes in meets this year and I am extremely happy with the way they worked towards PRs all season.  I am very excited and proud of Kylie pushing to get that national championship berth!  It was a very good year as we returned Womens Cross Country (after not having a team last year) and I look forward to use the foundation work Kylie and Gretchen did in re-establishing our tradition in getting top finishers plus national qualifiers for the incoming recruits coming in to build off of in the years to come!"
