September 30, 2022 - The Kishwaukee College Kougars Womens and Mens Cross Country teams headed south this past Friday to run in the Heartland CC Invite in Normal, IL.  After the results were in, all of the Kish runners posted PRs for the season. On the 5000 womens side, Kylie Von Schnase took 14th place with a PR of 22:22 while teammate Gretchen Strathman placed 34th with a PR of 26:10. Zander Ward finished 15th as he posted a 27:53 and a potential Kish all time record in the 8000.  Thomas Gil placed 39th with his PR of 31:15 while teammates Josue Huerta (46th) and Andrew Neumann (50th) hit their PRs on the season with a  32:55 and a 35:31 respectively. Kish will run at the Sauk Valley CC Skyhawk Invite next weekend as a final tune up to the Arrowhead Conference Championship on October 15 and the NJCAA Region 4 Championships on October 29.
