Kishwaukee Volleyball Wins 5th & 6th Games in a Row

 

The Kish Kougars hit the road and kept rolling as they beat Olivet Nazarene 3-1 and upset the #5 ranked Harper College, 3-0. The Kougars started off slow in the first match with sloppy play and dropped the game 25-15. They roared back and played Kougar volleyball in the next three games winning 25-21, 25-16 and 25-17, to win their 5th straight match. Abby Baker led Kishwaukee with 17 kills and Cydney Long had 33 assists.

                The second game had the Kougars facing their 9th Top 10 opponent of the year and this time they came away victorious for the first time this season. The Kougars swept Harper College 3-0, with final scores of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-21. Baker once again led Kishwaukee with 15 kills, followed by Emily Young with 10. Cydney Young finished with 29 assists and Shannon Maher chipped in with 10 digs. The win was the 6th consecutive victory for the Kishwaukee Kougars.
