November 5, 2024 - The Kishwaukee College Womens Basketball team opened up the regular season at home on Tuesday night in Malta.  The Kougars would lead at halftime 27-23 but a tough third quarter allowed Joliet to take the lead for good on the way to a JJC 51-42 win.  Mariah Drake (Oregon HS) led the Kougars with 12 points with teammate Kara Martinez (Rochelle HS) had 11 points and 11 rebounds.  Cayla Evans (DeKalb HS), Precious French (Dekalb HS) and Macey Stoddard (Rockford Christian HS) added 8, 5 and 4 points repectively with Loretta Atkinson (Rochelle HS) getting 5 rebounds for Kish.

Kishwaukee (0-1 overall) will travel this weekend to Grayslake to play in teh Collge of Lake Country Classic Friday and Saturday.
