January 27, 2022 - The Kougars would lead 51-24 at the half Thursday night and play the full compliment of rostered players significant minutes on the way to a 91-60 victory over Arroehead Conference rival Carl Sandburg College. The game also was part of the nationwide Coaches Vs Cancer series of games to raise money for cancer cures and awareness. Olivia Lambrigtsen had a triple double for Kish with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Kougar Chian Scott led all scorers with 26 points and Lexi Keating posted 15 points. Teammates Madisyn Standard, Brooklyn Sellers and Kayla Boyd each had 8 rebounds and pressured the Chargers all night. Latonia Lacy ran the offense with 7 assists and 9 rebounds as Bridget Babb (6 points), Nadia Timm (6 points) Samantha Koper (4 points), and Megan Buttens (4 rebounds,2 assists) helped control the game on the offensive end.
Kishwaukee (11-6 overall, 2-1 in the Arrowhead Conference) will work to continue their winning streak when the College of DuPage team comes to town this Saturday at noon before hosting Black Hawk College on Tuesday night at 5:30 in another Arrowhead Conference tilt.
