Kougars drop high scoring game on the road

January 20, 2022 - The Kishwaukee College Kougars Women's Basketball team traveled to Freeport to take on (9-5) Highland CC Thursday night.  The pace of the game caused it to be a high scoring affair but in the end Kish sufffered their first loss in Arrowhead Conference play 104-81.  Olivia Lambrigtsen had 22 points, Chian Scott 16 and Kayla Boyd 10 while Latonia Lacy had a double double with 11 points and 10 assists and Megan Buttens put in 7 points for the Kougars.

Kish (8-6 overall and 1-1 in Arrowhead Conference) will travel to Olive Harvey this Saturday at 1:00 pm before returning home next Tuesday to take on Kankakee CC at 5:30 pm. The Kankakee game will be one of the teams planned Coaches vs Cancer Sneakers and Suits series games all next week along with the Kish Men's team. These events will hope to raise donation funds and awareness to finding cures.
