April 24, 2024 - Kishwaukee College softball took both games of a doubleheader against McHenry County College Wednesday in Crystal Lake 10-2 and 16-5 (5 inn run rule).  Alyssa Wilkerson and Alyssa Owen picked up the wins in the circle.  Game one offensive highlights were Jalyna Polichnowski 3 runs scored, 2 SB, Haley Trela 3 RBI, 2 hits and Abby Stoffa 2 hits, run scored. Game two highlights Erin Simmons 3 hits, Kyra Johnson 3 RBI, Crystal Haack 2 hits, 3 RBI, Laila Anderson 2 hits, 3 RBI and Chelsea Hatfield run scored. 

This was the 7th doubleheader sweep out of the last 10 NJCAA Region 4 doubleheaders for Kish.  The Kougars are now 23-20 overall and 7-7 in Arrowhead Conference play.  They await what Mother Nature has in store Friday as they look to battle Illinois Valley CC at home in their next conference doubleheader.
