April 21, 2024 - The Kougars took game one 5-3 while losing a tough game two 6-3 to Triton College (22-10 on season after the split). Game one saw Alysssa Wilkerson go the distance giving up 2 earned runs with 2 strikeouts.  Erin Simmons drove in 2 runs as teammates Jalyna Polichnowski, Haley Von Schnase, Haley Trela scored runs.  in the nightcap, Triton jumped out to a 5-0 lead after 3 innings and didnt look back. Kish would tally 1 run in the fifth and 2 more in the seventh but fell just short of the comback.  Kyra Johnson went all seven innings in the circle allowing just 4 earned runs and striking out 7.  Offensively, the Kougars were led by Polichnowski and Trela who both had two hits.

Kishwaukee is now 19-18 overall on the season and will travel to take on Waubonsee in two games Monday in the Interstate 88 rivalry.
