April 12, 2024 - The Kougars softball team picked up their second sweep of a doubleheader in the past two days, this time as they traveled to Morton College Friday.  Kish would win by run rule 19-0 and 15-3.  In game one, Alyssa Wilkerson (4 hits, 3 RBI) got the victory pitching allowing just 2 hits.  Haley Von Schnase and Erin Simmons had 4 RBI each while Jalyna Polichnowski scored 4 runs, Kyra Johnson, Haley Trela (HR) and Crystal Haack had 3 hits each.

Game two was more of the same offensively as Haley Trela hit another HR, Polichnowski had a triple and double and Laila Anderson scored 2 runs. Melina Zak and Abby Stoffa had a run and RBI each.  Kyra Johnson picked up the pitching win giving up 4 hits and 3 earned runs with 2 strikeouts.  Kish moves to 12-15 overall on the season and will travel to Moraine Valley CC tomorrow.
