April 26, 2023 - The Kishwaukee College Softball team went up to Grayslake Wednesday and came home with a sweep in NJCAA Region 4 action against the College of Lake County.  In game one, Kish would lead early on and pull away 10-1.  Linnea Nelson (triple) led the way with 3 RBI, while teammates Reese Ward and Kya Logston added 2 RBI each. Jalyna Polichnowski and Kendal Ansteth sprayed 2 hits each and Mia Richards, Kayla Wiedemann and Eden Lindenmeyer crossed the plate with runs.  Katie Taylor showed off the glove at the hot corner.  In game two, Kish would hold on to a 3-1 win.  Richards and Logston had 3 hits each, with Samantha Koper, Lindenmeyer, Ward and Polichnowski adding key hits. Logston was winner in the circle for game two and Ward picked up the "W" in game one. Kishwaukee will travel to Bryant and Stratton (WI) Friday before returning home Saturday to battle McHenry County College then again Sunday versus Sauk Valley CC.  first game of doubleheaders both weekend dates will be at noon.
