April 2, 2023 - The Kishwaukee College Womens softball team split with Morton College Panthers Sunday winning the first game 9-7 before dropping 9-3 in the second game. The Kougars were led by Sycamore HS grad Mia Richards (2 RBI) with a homerun in game one and Rochelle HS grad Kendal Ansteth (3 RBI) with a home run in game two.  Teammates Reese Ward (Sycamore HS) had a total of 6 hits out of 7 at bats in the two games, while Kayla Wiedemann (Farmington Central HS) had a combined 3 hits. Kya Logston (Byron HS) won in the circle in game one.

Kishwaukee (3-11 overall and 1-3 in NJCAA Region 4) will next play an Arrowhead Conference DH against Carl Sandburg College Thursday, April 6 with first game at 3:00 pm, and return home to play another Arrowhead DH versus Highland CC on Friday at home – first pitch 3:00 pm.
