September 1, 2023 - The Kishwaukee College Mens Cross Country team took to the course for the Rock River Invitational hosted by Rockford University this past Friday.  The Kougars ran against primarlily four year college athletes from Rockford University, Aurora University, Benedictine University, Edgewood (WI) College, Eureka College, Lake Forest College and Concordia - Chicago University. Freshman Thomas Koziol (Rochelle Township HS) posted a 19:21 good for 36th place while sophomore teammate Josue Huerta (Rochelle Township HS) clocked in at 21:26 good for 46th place. "It was a good first meet of the season to stretch the legs and compete against some really quality four-year runners!" said Anthony Enright, Kishwaukee Head Coach. "It will give us a change to grow and improve as the season goes on." 

The Kougars will next run at the Aurora University Invite at the Northwestern Medicine Course in Geneva, Illinois on Saturday, September 9.
