November 16, 2022 - The NJCAA Region 4 coaches and the Arrowhead Conference has announced their 2022-2023 season honors.  Freshman Zander Ward (DeKalb HS) earned All-Region 4 and All-Arrowhead Conference team selections. Ward on the year finished 15th at the Heartland CC Invite to begin the season while placing 3rd at the Skyhawk Invite, 4th at the Arrowhead Conference Championships and 10th place at the Region 4 Championships to qualify for a spot at the NJCAA National Championships in Tallahassee Florida on November 12.    The Arrowhead Conference consists of six teams in Northern Illinois that also compete in NJCAA Region 4.  The Arrowhead Conference is the oldest community college athletic conference in the state of Illinois.
