September 11, 2021 - The Kishwaukee College Mens  Soccer team continued putting together good stretches during their match when needed on the way to a 5-2 win versus Kankakee CC in Kankakee Saturday.  Andrew Leon (DeKalb HS) had two of the markers for the Kougars while Julian Garcia (DeKalb HS), Alex Chavez (DeKalb HS) and John Hernandez (DeKalb HS) added a goal apiece.  Assists came from Leon, Chavez, Codey Collin (Lincoln Way West HS) and Boston Glessner (Dixon HS)

Head Coach Colby Newquist added, "The team has had a strong start to the season. They are really grasping the style of play and messages we put across to them. They work hard in training and are constantly pushing each other to better, this is being reflected in the results. Julian García had a stand out performance today as he was involved in some form on almost every goal. 

Kishwaukee (4-0 Overall, 1-0 Arrowhead Conference) will stay on the road this week with matches on September 16 at Moraine Valley CC and September 18 at Elgin CC
