Kishwaukee Keglers improve at first conference invite of the season

October 24, 2021 - The Kishwaukee College Mens Bowling team travelled back up to Rockford, Illinois this past weekend to compete in the Great Lakes Bowling Conference II Invite at Cherry Bowl.  With over 180, mostly four-year student-athlete bowlers, Aaron Olson (DeKalb HS) led the way for the Kougars in 62nd place with a 1041 series in the two-day event.  Teammate Keith Holland, Jr (Rochelle HS) finished 84th with a 977 series, Nick Stevens (Rochelle HS) 101st with a 873 series and Zach Anderson (Indian Creek HS) 128th with a 599.  "It was a great chance today to get over our jitters from the first invite last time and I thought the team performed well overall." said Head Coach Jeff Marcley.  "They are all committed to getting better each day and I can see their efforts are starting to pay off in this weekend's event!"   Kish will travel to Addison, Illinois on December 4-5 to compete in the UW-Whitewater Invite.
