Esports kick off fall semester competition this past week

September 24, 2021 - The 2021-2022 Esports team began their fall semester portion of NJCAAE competition this past week in their new on-campus arena.  Head Coach Matthew Hixon has the team playing in individual and team events this fall semsester until November playoffs.  Here are a few of the results from this past week:

SMASH BROS ULTIMATE - On Wednesday, Antonio Suarez defeated his opponent from Nassau (NY) Community College while Leonardo Hernandez lost a tough battle against his rival from Gogebic Community College (MI) Samsons

VALORANT - On Thursday, the Kishwaukee College team of Daniel Thirtle, Aaron Olson, John Knapp, Branden Aldred and Angel Salas-Duran lost a very close battle against the Hutchinson CC (KS) Blue Dragon Esports 

The Esports athletes will continue their competitions each week until closer to November when qualifiers will compete in National playoffs
