Baseball lose close one to Olive Harvey

March 27, 2025- The Kishwaukee College Baseball team hosted Olive Harvey College on Thursday in a nine inning NJCAA Region 4 game.  The Kougars and Panthers plated a run each in the first inning but Kish would take the lead in the bottom of the fourth on a Aiden Rodriguez single to go up 3-2. However, OHC would score the next three runs while Kishwaukee couldn't get their base runners home the rest of the way for a 6-3 loss. Daelen Figueroa, Jonathan Hartline, Brock Metzger, Jackson Young and Rodriguez had a hit each while Jack Okun, Hartline and Metzger scored the runs for Kish.  Alex Prince started on the mound going 6 strong innings giving up 5 earned runs while striking out 7.  Lenox Estremera had three innings in relief giving up 1 earned run while striuking out 5.

Kishwaukee (2-17 overall, 1-5 Region 4 play) will travel to Carl Sandburg College Saturday (weather permitting) for an Arrowhead Conference doubleheader before playing CSC again Tuesday at home.
