Kougs take two games from Kennedy-King

April 21, 2024 - The Kishwaukee College Kougars Baseball team won both games of a doubleheader against Kennedy King College Sunday at home by the scores 16-10 and 22-7 (in five innings).  After trailing 10-2 after 4 1/2 innings, Kish responded with11 runs in their half of the fifth innings and would add three more in the sixth while holding off King in their seventh.  Adam Raclawski picked up the win in relief.  Tommy Gargano had 4 RBI while Noah Lara and Sam Genslinger had 2 RBI each for Kishwaukee.  Zach Cantu and Gabriel Lopez scored 2 runs each and Ethan Byham had 3 hits and scored 2 runs.  In game two, Kevon Marshall (3 strikeouts) and Sean Mcgee (6 strikeouts) combined for the Kish win on the mound.  Offensively, Lenox Estremera and Alec Rosa had 4 RBI each. Will Baumgartner and Sawyer Eccles scored 3 runs apiece and Aiden Rodriguez (2 runs) and Reese Kirk (run) helped the scoring cause.

Kishwaukee is now 9-26 overall on the season and will host Sauk Valley CC Tuesday in another Arrowhead Conference doubleheader starting at 2:00 pm.
