Baseball drops a pair of hard fought games at Madison

 

 

 

March 27, 2019 – The Kishwaukee College Baseball team dropped a pair of games to Madison (WI) College on Wednesday up in Madison.  In game one, shortstop Dylan Doyle went 3 for 3 while Ethan Wetzel, Parker Burch and Frank DeLeon collected hits as well to pace Kish.  Daniel Ojeda took the loss on the hill while Albert Warnaar and Ethan Johanningsmeier pitched innings as well.

 

Game two was a close affair throughout but Madison picked up the victory 3-0.  Burch went 2 for 3 with Wetzel, Doyle, Michael Ryan and Dimitri Duverger also picking up hits.  Samuel Coe (0-2) gave up 2 earned runs while striking out 2.  Matthew Enriquez pitched three innings with 1 earned run allowed and Tristan Valerio an inning pitched with 0 earned runs.

 

Kishwaukee (0-5-1 overall) will play home and home doubleheaders against Black Hawk College beginning with away games in Moline this Saturday and returning to Malta on Tuesday, April 2 (weather permitting) to open up Arrowhead Conference play.
