Kishwaukee Athletics Partners with Helper Helper

The Kishwaukee Kougars Department of Athletics has joined forces with Helper Helper to keep track of the impact the Kougar teams have on their surrounding communities. Helper Helper is an online platform and smart phone app that connects student athletes to meaningful volunteer opportunities in their community. Champions in the Community is the Kishwaukee athletic department’s community service program that incorporates existing events as well as creating new ones, to engage Kougar athletes with the surrounding communities.

Kishwaukee College athletics has joined 119 other schools, representing 40 different conferences and over 39,000 athletes from across the country, in deciding to use their platform as student athletes to serve their communities. With the aid of Helper Helper, the entire community service process is simplified so that the work that the athletes do every single day will add up to make a gigantic impact in the community.

So far this year, the Kishwaukee Kougars have totaled 244 hours serving the surrounding communities.
