Jeff Tamraz joined the Kishwaukee Athletics family as the Head Coach for Women’s and Men’s Bowling in May 2022.  The 2022-2023 season will be his first at the helm of the Kougars.  Coach Tamraz returns to his roots as a former Kishwaukee College student himself after having graduated from Hiawatha (Kirkland) High School.  Coach started bowling as a seven year old and has continued bowling throughout high school up to the present.  He was coached by Suburban Windy City USBC Hall of Famer, David Tamraz, bowled in junior programs at St. Charles Bowl as well as participated in travel leagues locally in the area.  Coach Tamraz continues to compete in numerous tournaments himself including USBC yearly tournaments as he is still active in two leagues a week currently.  In addition, Coach Tamraz continues to help youth bowlers in the area with their bowling development.  Jeff is eager to get started working with the college programs and recruiting high school student-athletes to Kishwaukee!  "I am thrilled to be a part of Kishwaukee Athletics and to become the next head coach of the bowling programs.  I know both teams are still relatively new to the college and the community.  That said, it is exciting to take a lead role in building the programs into something the college and the community can be very proud of!  As a youth growing up, and through high school, there were not many options to continue bowling at the high school or college level but Kishwaukee is now providing such an opportunity to our local student-athletes in order to continue competing in a sport they are passionate about while getting a quality education.  I feel as I am an advocate for the sport in this role and able to share my experiences with student athletes in the area on where they can excel both athletically and in their career paths.”
