Cross Country announces five new recruit signings

January 23, 2019 - Assistant Cross Country Coach Missy Gillis announced the signing of five new recruits for the 2019-2020 Cross Country season.  "We are very excited on the entire class coming in to build from this past season!" said Coach Gillis.  Kishwaukee brought back the Men's Cross Country program after numerous years in hiatus and launched the Women's program for the first time ever while having one of its runners make it all the way to the NJCAA Nationals in Garden City, Kansas.  "Each new recruit bring something unique to the program while helping us raise the bar on personal bests and the overall program success."

The new recruits are:

Ian Harrison (DeKalb HS)

"Ian comes from a family of runners and has experience running under the direction of Coach Wolf at DHS.  I am looking forward to his contributions to our team."

Johnathan Hillier (DeKalb HS)

"This will be Johnathan's inaugural year running cross country.  He comes to us in amazing physical condition with a goal to become the best runner he can be."

Anne Hickey (Rochelle Township HS)

"Anne is an experienced runner that will be a leader for our women's program in practice and in meets."

Rachel Martin (Genoa Kingston HS)    

"Rachel has a competitive spirit and brings a solid running background.  I am looking forward to her leadership."

Jarrod Pritchett (Sycamore HS)           

"Jarrod has a running background as is serious about his training.  I am looking forward to Jarrod's dedication and positive attitude as well as his strong contribution to the team's success." 

Kishwaukee competes against other NJCAA Region IV programs at various meets in Illinois and neighboring states.
