Head Coach Anthony Terdina took over the Womens program as of the 2023-2024 season at Kishwaukee College.  Before taking over as the head coach of the women’s team, Terdina spent the past three seasons as the Assistant Coach for the men’s team under Head Coach Colby Newquist. Coach Terdina's goal is to continue to build the women’s program in the same way the men’s program has grown during his tenure at Kish.  “I was able to see that the women’s program was going in the right direction. What really got me interested in the position was making sure our student-athletes had the opportunity to play. There’s so much local talent in the area, which is something I have always wanted to showcase. We have a real opportunity to do that.”

Terdina is familiar with the local soccer community, having played the sport for local clubs and leagues throughout his lifetime. A 2009 graduate of Sycamore High School, Terdina earned all-area and all-conference recognition for the Spartans. He also played a season of soccer for the Eureka College Red Devils and multiple years of club soccer for the Rockford Raptors.  When establishing initial goals for the program, Terdina hopes to find student-athletes that want to hone their skills at Kish before transferring to another level of college soccer. In additon, Coach Terdina emphasizes the importance of academics at Kish and how building good study habits will benefit all student-athletes moving forward.  “Strong academics are just so crucial when going to and succeeding at the next level - We really want to raise that bar for our program.”

Kishwaukee College started its women’s soccer team in the fall of 2018. During the past few seasons, the program has seen numerous athletes earn all-academic and all-conference honors, along with multiple players continuing their careers at four-year colleges or universities.
