Kishwaukee College Womens Golf team qualifies for NJCAA DI Nationals

October 6, 2021 – The Kishwaukee College Women's Golf team finished their two-day Region 4 and NJCAA Midwest District Championships on Wednesday down at Lake Bracken CC in Galesburg.  The Kougars finished one stroke better as a team than host Carl Sandburg College to qualify for the NJCAA National Championship.  Amber Fellows (Genoa Kingston HS), Nina Baratta (Dixon HS), Jillian Fuchs (Sandwich HS) and Kylee Heck (Rockford Lutheran HS) will now compete with the NJCAA Division I best May 9-12, 2022 at Timacuan Golf and Country Club in Lake Mary, Florida.  Fellows also finished third to medal.  Kishwaukee College is in just their second year offering Women's Golf as part of their 14 athletic programs.  "We are truly excited and proud of our student athletes and Coach Brennan for this historic accomplishment today!" said Scott Kawall, Kishwaukee College Athletic Director. "They truly performed down the stretch to become the first team in Region 4 history to ever officially qualify for NJCAA DI Nationals in this sport through a region and district championship.  These ladies should be extremely proud of their accomplishments! "
