Kougars lead every quarter, beat Skyhawks 66-56

January 7, 2023 – The Kishwaukee College Womens Basketball team hosted Sauk Valley CC Tuesday night at Kishwaukee's annual Pink Zone games to raise money for the Play for Kay Foundation and finding a cure for breast cancer.  The Kougars came out with intensity right from the start as they pushed the tempo leading at the end of every quarter on the way to a 66-56 victory. Kish was led by Chian Scott with 21 points and 6 assists, Kira Klapprodt 15 points and 8 assists, Samantha Koper 13 points and 4 rebounds and Kayla Boyd 10 points and 6 points.  Teammates Brooklyn Sellers (10 rebounds) Cashay Stevenson (4 rebounds) and Heaven Johnson (2 rebounds and a block) turned up the defense to help Kish hold down Sauk's key offensive threats in the second half.

Kish (4-21 overall, 2-6 in Arrowhead Conference) will host Highland CC Thursday at 7:30 pm in another Arrowhead matchup.
