January 9, 2023 -  The NJCAA Region 4 selected their Women's Basketball Division II, District A Player of the Week honoree for the week of January 15.  Sophomore Kayla Boyd was selected based on her on court performances during that week.  This includes results versus conference teams from Highland CC and Black Hawk College where Kayla scored a combined 24 points, pulled down 27 rebounds, while contributing 5 assists and 5 steals.  In addition, Kayla becomes the fifth different Kishwaukee Women's basketball player to receive the honor this season. Kishwaukee Athletics is very proud of Kayla's recognition on the court.
