January 19, 2023 - The Kishwaukee College Womens basketball team hosted Arrowhead Conference rival Black Hawk College Thursday night. Kish would trail 35-27 by halftime. But a 10 point advantage in points off turnovers and points in the paint by the Braves forced the Kougars to fight back from as much as a 21 point deficit. In the end Black Hawk would win 73-57. Cashay Stevenson led Kish in points for the second game in a row with 16, while Kira Klapprodt had 14 points and Samantha Koper added 10 points. Kayla Boyd and Heaven Johnson grabbed 11 and 10 rebounds respectively
Kishwaukee (8-10 overall) will travel to Kankakee CC Tuesday before hosting conference foe Carl Sandburg College in their Coaches vs Cancer/Suits and Sneakers Game on Thursday at 5:30 pm.
