Kougars end pre holiday break week by going 2-1

December 21, 2019 – The Kishwaukee Women's Basketball team returned home to play Morton College in their last game before the holiday break.  The Kougars came in having won two in a row on the road earlier this week.  Kish started out well throughout the first quarter and deep into the second going into the locker room up 31-26.  The game would continue back and forth throughout the rest of the third with Kishwaukee still up by three over the Panthers.  The fourth quarter continued in the same manner only to have Morton pull into the lead for good with 1:30 left on the clock for the victory and final score of 66-61. 

Cesca Vardman led the Kougars with 17 points while Lauren Kawall finished with 15 and Addie Kitzmiller with 10.  Kishwaukee will go into the holiday break with an overall record of 4-8.  The Kougars will get back in action to begin the Arrowhead Conference part of their schedule and Illinois Valley CC on Thursday, January 9, with tip off slated for 5:30 pm
