February 18, 2019 - Kishwaukee Women's Basketball Player, Ashley Kerns (Rochelle Township HS), had an outstanding week this past week to receive Region IV, Division II, District L Player of the Week recognition. In her game against Highland, Kerns scored 11 points, had 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Against Carl Sandburg Ashley scored 7 points and 4 rebounds. Her totals for the week were: 18 points (5/8 FG, 8/11 FT), 17 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Kerns becomes the fourth Kougar to receive the Region honor this season joining teammates, Cesca Vardman, Morgan Baker and Rashel Robinson.
