Lady Kougars play tough but lose first two Arrowhead matchups

January 15, 2019 - The Kishwaukee Womens Basketball team turned the calendar and the season schedule towards the Arrowhead Conference this past week.  On Thursday, January 10 the Kougars played a hard fought game that eventually found them on the losing end of a 56-47 score to a tough Carl Sandburg team.  Cesca Vardman led the team with 14 points.  Cayla Winters poured in 11 points and had 5 rebounds and Morgan Baker tallied 9 points and 7 rebounds.  On Tuesday, January 15, the team travelled to Oglesby to take on Illinois Valley but the Eagles were able to pull away late with the final score 60-47.  Rashel Robinson led Kish with 12 points.  Baker added 10 points and Abigail Kerns 6.  Danielle Stiles pulled down 10 rebounds.

Kishwaukee (5-13 overall, 0-2 conference) will next host Black Hawk College this Thursday at 5:30 pm.
