November 24, 2018 - The Kishwaukee Women's Basketball team came back in the final two quarters to defeat Morton College 68-62 in Cicero. Morton held a halftime lead of 33-30 but the Kougars outscored them 38-29 in the final frames led by Rashel Robinson and her double-double of 28 points and 21 rebounds. Cesca Vardman added 10 points for Kish while Morgan Baker (4 points, 5 assists), Danielle Stiles (11 rebounds) and Abigail Kerns (5 points, 4 assists) added offensive production along with Cayla Winters, Dennysha Kizer, Lani Morris and Addie Kitzmiller. Amanda Ross and Ashley Kerns helped to slow down Morton with their defense in the third and forth quarters.
Kish (2-5 overall) will host Elgin Community College on Tuesday, November 27 at 5:30 pm and then hit the road for two games starting Thursday, November 29 at Milwaukee Area Tech at 5:00 pm and finish the week in Des Plaines with an away game at Oakton Community College with a scheduled tip-off at 1:00 pm.
