December 5, 2017 - After ending the first quarter on top of the visiting Lady Hawks of Harper College 12-10, the Kishwaukee College Lady Kougars never trailed on the way to a convincing 53-37 in Malta. A balanced scoring attack was led by Danielle Stiles' (DeKalb HS) double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds. Aneysia Schrader (Belvidere North HS) added another strong performance with a double-double of her own 12 points and 10 rebounds. Cayla Winters (Genoa Kingston HS) poured in 13 points as Ashley and Abby Kerns (Rochelle HS) handed out 6 assists each. Kishwaukee held the advantage on the offensive boards 18-7 and points in the paint at 40-12.

Kishwaukee (5-4 overall, 0-0 Arrowhead Conference) will travel to Wright College in Chicago on Saturday and then return home next week for a key matchup against Waubonsee College on Tuesday night with tip-off at 5:30 pm.
