November 18, 2017 – In Grayslake, The Kishwaukee College Women's Basketball team sprinted out to an early 15-point advantage in the first quarter against the Lady Lancers of Lake County and held on to a 63-60 win.  The Lady Kougars (2-2, 2-0 in Region IV play) were led by Cayla Winters (Genoa Kingston HS) with 26 points including being 7-11 behind the three-point arc.  Ashley Kerns (Rochelle HS) added 12 points, was a perfect 7-7 from the free throw line and had 6 assists.  Abby Kerns (Rochelle HS) and Danielle Stiles (DeKalb HS) both chipped in with 10 points each.

The Lady Kougars will play their first home game of the season this upcoming Tuesday night at 5:30 pm versus McHenry County College.
