April 30, 2024 - The Kishwaukee College Softball team played their last regular season doubleheader at home Tuesday vs Milwaukee Area Tech.  The Kougars took game one 3-2 in walk off fashion in the bottom of seventh.  Haley Von Schnase led off with a double and scored on Erin Simmons' RBI single.  Haley Trela and Jalyna Polichnowski each scored a run. Alyssa Wilkerson got the win pitching going all 7 with 5 strikeouts.  Game two saw the Kougars score first in the bottom of the first and 2 more in the fifth on the way to a 3-1 victory and the sweep.  Haley Trela went 3-3 with a run scored as Laila Anderson and Jalyna Polichnowski scored the other runs for Kish.  Erin Simmons, Haley Von Schnase and Polichnowski had the RBI.  Kyra Johnson picked up the win in the circle allowing only 4 hits and striking out 2.

With the victory Kishwaukee finished 14-6 at home and 28-21 overall in the regular season.  They await their NJCAA Region 4 playoff seeding Wednesday night with the first round this upcoming weekend.
