April 28, 2024 - The Kishwaukee College Softball team hosted College of Lake County Sunday afternoon and swept both games 4-1 & 8-0 (run rule after 5 innings) on Sophomore Day.  Alyssa Wilkerson won game 1 in the circle allowing 0 runs allowed with 8 strikeouts while teammate Kyra Johnson won game two on a 1 hitter with 5 strikeouts.  Jalyna Polichnowski had 4 hits and 5 SB and Linnea Nelson 3 hits and 3 runs overall on the day. Abby Stoffa had a triple and 3 RBI in game two.  Kishwaukee also recognized their five sophomores Haley Trela, Erin Simmons, Chelsea Hatfield, Jalyna Polichnowski and Linnea Nelson ahead of game one as Kishwaukee College Athletics and Head Coach Eric Simmons thanked the sophomores for their passion and dedication over their careers!! 

Kish is now 25-20 and will host Highland CC Monday in the last Arrowhead Conference DH of the season.
