April 8, 2024 - The Kishwaukee College Softball team played Monday in Kankakee vs Kankakee CC.  Kish would be swept by the Cavaliers 18-10 and 2-0.  In game one, the Kougars would be ahead 10-7 after their half of the fourth inning.  However, KCC would put up 6 and 4 runs in their half of the fourth and fifth to pull away for the win.  Jalyna Polichnowski, Haley Trela, Erin Simmons and Kyra Johnson each had two hits.  Linnea Nelson drove in three runs and had a home run.  Alyssa Wilkerson added a run scored and a hit but took the loss in the circle.  Trela and Simmons had the only hit for Kish in the nightcap while Johnson was strong pitching six strong innings surrendering just 2 earned runs.

Kishwaukee will travel to battle Illinois Valley CC in Arrowhead Conference action Tuesday, first game at 3 pm.
