August 24, 2021 - After an out of sync first ten minutes that saw visiting Malcolm X College score the first two goals, the Kougars tallied six straight unanswered goals on the way to a 7-5 win in their first official match this season. For Kishwaukee (1-0-0) Andrew Leon (DeKalb HS) scored a hat trick of goals while Julian Garcia (DeKalb HS) and Tyler Scarbrough (DeKalb HS) scored two goals each. Max Torres (Rochelle HS) and Arben Redzepi (DeKalb HS) provided assists. Joseph Quinn (Sycamore HS), John Hernandez (DeKalb HS) and Boston Glessner (Dixon HS) provided good defensive pressure both halves as Victor Guerrero (DeKalb HS) picked up the win as the goalkeep . The Kougars next game will be at home Tuesday, August 31 at 2:00 pm versus Daley College.
