Kougars Mens Soccer plays strong on Homecoming against Daley College

September 14, 2019 - The Kishwaukee Mens Soccer team continued playing well on Homecoming Day in Malta this past Saturday against Richard J Daley College.  The Kougars would go on to win by the score of 7-0.  Jessee Infante tallied four more goals and is now leading NJCAA Region IV in total goals (14) and total points (34) in the first half of the season.  Angel Martinez added two goals of his own to go along with two assists, while Kenyatta Coakley had a marker and Jake Mundell had an assist for Kish.  Genaro Rodriguez was clean in goal with six saves as the defense and midfield teammates helped keep the Bulldogs out of the net.  "The team is learning each match," said Mens Soccer Head Coach Brenton Joseph, "I am pleased with our overall performance on Saturday but we all know there's some hard work to be done as we prepare for some tough regional teams this week."

Kishwaukee (7-1 overall) will have some more home matches this week as they host a tough Regional IV foes, South Suburban on Wednesday with kick-off at 4:00 pm then they will host Morton College in a back to back DH with Kish Womens Soccer on Saturday beginning at noon.
