Kougars grind out another win versus Cavaliers

September 6, 2019 - Sometimes in sports a long travel day to an opponent can make for a tough game mentally.  The Kishwaukee Kougars Mens Soccer team certainly had to deal with that Friday afternoon as they had a long trip to Kankakee Community College.  In the end, Kish would stay more composed for the ninety minute affair to pick up a 2-1 victory over the host Cavaliers.  Jessee Infante (Rochelle HS) added two more goals with assists from Juan Montemayor (Rochelle HS) and Tyler Scarbrough (DeKalb HS).  Good pressure defense by Jesus Lara-Para (Genoa Kingston HS), Kenyatta Coakley (DeKalb HS), Muaad Elgosbi (DeKalb HS) and Ian Barker (Genoa Kingston HS) provided back line help for goalie Genaro Rodriguez (DeKalb HS) who increased his save percentage in Region IV allowing just the one goal.

Kishwaukee is now 5-1 on the season and will host the College of DuPage on Tuesday, September 10 at 4:00 pm before competing against Richard J Daley College in their Homecoming match at 1:00 pm after the Kish Womens match at 11:00 am.
